Our Practices
It is important to us to manage all aspects of the land and take care of it so that it can provide for us. To do this we work with a number of professionals to learn and use the most current and effective management practices for the farm. For example, we use rotational grazing, soil testing, and fertilize with our own composted manure. We are learning to use practices to help mitigate climate change. Consumers can also help with this by buying food less travelled, which reduces fossil fuel consumption and pollution.
